Azure Synapse Runtime for Apache Spark 3.4 is now Generally Available
Azure Synapse Runtime for Apache Spark 3.4 has transitioned from Public Preview to General Availability, making it suitable for production environments. The latest release includes upgrades to Apache Spark 3.4 and Delta Lake 2.4, along with enhancements to the operating system (Mariner) and Java version (from 8 to 11). It is recommended for all Azure Synapse customers with Apache Spark workloads to upgrade to the latest GA version for improved performance and functionality.
