ASE v1 and v2 retirement on 31 August 2024
Azure has officially announced the retirement of Cloud Services (classic) on 31 August 2024, which will also result in the retirement of App Service Environment v1 and v2. Users are advised to migrate to App Service Environment v3 before the specified date. After 31 August 2024, App Service Environment v1 and v2, along with any associated applications and data, will be deleted.
App Service Environment v3 offers several benefits, including the elimination of Stamp Fee, discounted pricing offers, and potential cost savings through more efficient resource utilization. Users are encouraged to take advantage of these benefits by completing their migration before the deadline.
To receive guidance and support during the migration process, users can access resources such as Azure FastTrack Architects and Microsoft Q&A.
