Agentless multi-disk crash consistent backup for VM with Azure Backup
Azure VM backup now offers agentless multi-disk crash consistent backups in public preview, allowing users to backup virtual machines without the need for additional software such as VM agents or snapshot extensions. This feature can help reduce quiesce time during backup for performance-sensitive workloads and can be used for operating systems that do not support application or file-system consistent backup. Simply set the Consistency Type in the Azure VM Backup policy to utilize this feature. Agentless crash consistent backups are supported in all public Azure regions.
