General availability of Azure Elastic SAN
The Azure Elastic SAN is now generally available, providing a fully-managed and cloud-native storage area network (SAN) solution that simplifies deployment, scaling, management, and configuration of SAN in the cloud. This offering responds to the increasing need for seamless migration of extensive SAN environments to the cloud, offering efficiency and ease. It stands out with a SAN-like resource hierarchy, appliance-level resource provisioning, and dynamic resource distribution for diverse workloads. Additionally, it offers benefits such as scale on demand, policy-based service management, and cloud native security enforcements. The GA release will be available in more regions and includes new features such as Azure Monitor Metrics and Azure Policy integration. The sign-up process for the snapshot export feature has also been removed, making it publicly available.
