New: Free data transfer out to internet upon exiting Azure
Azure now allows customers to migrate their data away from Azure for free through egress data transfer. The first 100GB/month of egressed data is free for all Azure customers in every region. For larger data transfers, customers can follow specific steps to receive a credit. Contact Azure Support to begin the data transfer-out process and ensure compliance with instructions to qualify for the credit. This exemption on data transfer fees aligns with the European Data Act and is available to all Azure customers worldwide from any Azure region.
