New Release: App Service Backup & Restore over Azure Virtual Network
Customers are able to utilize custom backups for their web applications, allowing for the secure backup of files and configuration data to a firewall-protected storage account. This feature is available when the app is integrated with a virtual network or is within a v3 App Service environment. Additionally, access to the storage account must be granted from the relevant virtual network or v3 App Service environment.
