Public Preview of Azure Static Web Apps Distributed Functions Feature
Distributed functions for Azure Static Web Apps is a new feature that can significantly reduce network latency for backend managed functions, resulting in improved performance for full-stack web apps worldwide. This capability, currently in Public Preview, automatically distributes managed functions to regions experiencing high demand. When traffic to managed functions increases in a region where an Azure Static Web App host is located, a copy of the managed functions will be deployed to that region and traffic will be routed accordingly.
